It has been lovely to have the girls back in MacLeod this week after what I hope was a restful break for them. The Year 13 girls have been busy with their mock examinations and we look forward to having them back with us properly on Monday.

We are very much looking forward to the School Production of Pygmalion next week. Good luck to the following girls who are involved: Emily K, Dana S, Chinmayi G, Emily P, Olivia T, Erin N, Niamh K, Isabella H, Parnia M, Nadia M – Break a leg, girls!! 

The Foundation Open Morning is tomorrow and my thanks in advance go to those girls who are due to help in MacLeod and across all departments. It really is an excellent opportunity to show off what Durham School has to offer. 

MacLeod Netball

The House Netball competitions for each year group will take place on the following dates during games lessons. The girls seem very excited and it has certainly brought a new sense of anticipation and competition now that the girls have 2 other houses to compete against! We know the girls will try their best and do MacLeod proud!! We are the GIRLS in GREEN!!

Thursday 20th March – Year 7 and Year 8 (A+B mixed teams) 

Wednesday 26th March – Seniors - Year 11-13 (A team)

Thursday 13th March – Y13 End of Mocks Treat 8.30am 

Tuesday 18th March – Y13 Parents Evening Friday 28th March – Sixth Form Social 4.45-6.30pm, MacLeod will close to all other girls at 4.45pm but girls needing to stay after that time can go to Lodge House 

Tuesday 1st April – Easter Bake Sale – Year Group Competition .
