From the Headmistress of Chorister School
Friday, 19 December 2025

What a truly successful and rewarding term it has been as 'Chorister Together'. In such a short space of time, an extraordinary amount has been achieved, and I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the entire school community — parents, staff, and most importantly our pupils — for making this term such a positive, purposeful and uplifting one.

The term has drawn to a close with a series of wonderful events over the past two weeks, beautifully marking the celebration of Christmas. These moments have captured the true spirit of the season and created memories that will be cherished; a genuinely magical time for all.

As the term ends, our Choristers move into their busiest period. My wholehearted thanks go to them and to the dedicated staff who support them, for their hard work, commitment and professionalism in helping to mark the Cathedral's festive season with such reflection, beauty and joy. Looking ahead to the last week of the holiday, I wish safe travels (and plenty of snow) to children and staff travelling to Aprica, Italy for our Chorister School ski trip.

Thank you to all our families and the wider school community for your continued support throughout the year.

We wish you a very Happy Christmas and a peaceful and healthy New Year.
