A busy penultimate week in the house. On Friday evening last week, we had the pleasure of hosting our Christmas parents' drinks. It was a wonderful evening. Thank you, to all the parents that came and made the evening one to remember. Thank you also, to the Year 13 boys who gave up their evening to serve the drinks. 

During their LWE tutor period, the Year 7 boys undertook a "build a paper tower" competition as part of their problem solving/resilience task. I think from the photos and Mrs Thompson's report we may have some budding engineers and architects in the group. Well done, boys!

On Wednesday night, the Poole House boys and Pimlico girls had a shared social in Poole House. Thank you, Mr Hughes and Ms Pinan for hosting the evening. It was a tremendous success, and the boys had a wonderful time. 

This week also marked the last full 15-a-side rugby matches for our Year 13s. It was a pleasure to be able to watch and hear many wonderful comments from the boys' coaches about the commitment to the rugby club throughout the years. Well done, Gursher G, Som O and William M.

Many of the Year 13s have had interviews for Oxford and Cambridge this week, as well as medicine. It has been a real pleasure to hear how positively they have gone and pleasing to see the boys so dedicated to their preparation. We will keep everything crossed for them. 

Charity information 

We will be pushing the boys to start planning some activities which they can be sponsored for. We will be raising money for the Percy Hedley Foundation, a local charity which provides special education, care, support, accommodation, and lifelong learning for people with disabilities. Keep an eye out for the events the boys have planned, and please do support the boys with this.
