A focus for the Choristers this week has been preparing the music for this weekend's Advent Processions. This is an atmospheric service to mark the start of Advent. The rehearsal last night went really well and everyone is looking forward to it. 

The service starts in darkness and the choir starts to sing at the west end of the cathedral as they move slowly through the building to the east end with the light growing as they go. If you have never experienced this service, it's majestic to be part of and if you have, you will want to be there again.
