It's been another busy week in the beehive! Part-song singers are still basking in the light of their win. Crafts are being made. Decorations are starting to go up, and it is starting to feel a lot like Christmas. On Wednesday we made candles to sell at the craft fair. The girls had lots of fun choosing colours and scents for the wax, then pouring it into the variety of tins, tea lights and containers we had. The office now smells amazing as they are stored in here. The girls have also been making wreaths, stars, gnomes and a host of other things. On that note, if you have any old t-shirts or jeans that you don't need then please send them in for us to turn into dog toys. On Thursday we lent our fabulous kitchen to Pimlico Year 10 and their tutor, Mr Wright for their social. Thank you for leaving us some cake to eat on Friday. Friday was one of my favourite days of the year. The Christmas tree has gone up and we spent House time creating personalised decorations to hang on it. It looks lovely, twinkling away in the corner, and has reinvigorated some very tired pupils and staff. The school is collecting food for the food bank again this year. The girls have been asked to bring in dried and canned goods before the 8th. Our Lady of Lodge this week goes to Rosie (Y12) who has made a lot of things for the craft fair this week. I hope everyone has a restful weekend. ![]() ![]() |
