Preparations for House Music have stepped up a gear this week. Both songs are sounding good and with just a few little things to sort out during our chapel rehearsals next week, Lodge is ready to sing. I am so proud of how far they have come, and a real sense of excitement is now building for the event. A reminder that all pupils are expected to attend and a free meal will be provided after school. The competition is due to finish between 8.15 and 8.30pm. All pupils should be collected from the House by 8.45pm at the latest. Last weekend saw our rowers compete in the Long Distance Sculls. Amy and Charlotte. This weekend, several of the girls are taking part in U14 and U16 netball as part of the County round for the National Schools competition at the Beacon of Light. We wish them luck. Friday was Odd Sock Day and it was good to see so many of the girls getting involved. I'm sure being able to wear cozy socks in this miserable weather had nothing to do with it! Finally, we got a lovely surprise on Friday lunchtime when Mrs Spence came in with Felicity. It was lovely to catch up with Mrs Spence and see how much Felicity has grown. Baby cuddles all round certainly brought cheer to a damp day. |
