It has been a quieter week, this week, in Poole House. The boys have settled into the rhythms and routines of school life and are continuing to knuckle down and work hard both inside and outside the classroom. Certainly, the school production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is really starting to gain momentum as rehearsals continued this week. The commendable work ethic of all of the boys is not going unnoticed, and waves of Lauds continue to flood in. Well done, boys. Make sure you keep up the hard work. Our pupil management team have also made something of a breakthrough this week, and have chosen the Poole House charity for the year. After some careful thought, it was decided that we will be raising money for the Percy Hedley Foundation, a local charity which provides special education, care, support, accommodation, and lifelong learning for people with disabilities. More information on the wonderful work they do may be found on their website here; https://www.percyhedley.org.uk/. Keep an eye out for the events the boys have planned. It was fabulous to hear of some more sporting achievements outside of school this week. Noah J not only did his team finish top of their league this season, but Noah also finished the season as the #1 batter and #2 bowler across the entire league. An outstanding all-round performance that truly reflects his hard work, dedication, and passion for the game. I know his family and I are incredibly proud of him.
