Poole House

Another lovely sunny week in Poole House this week, the Year 11 and 13s are still working hard and all appears to be going well. It is brilliant to see all the years starting to prepare for the upcoming School exams after the half term break. I know the boys will be using some of their time during the holiday to revise and make sure they are all prepared for exam week.

This week, the Year 10 social evening was on Tuesday night. It was a wonderful sunny evening, and the boys made the most of the great weather and the newly installed firepit area. The boys enjoyed a Domino's pizza night, toasted marshmallows and music with their friends. It was a great occasion and thank you to Mrs Fox for organising it.

It has been great to see the newly installed monitor team starting to fulfil their duties, especially during the morning Chapel services when we are greeted and ushered to our seats. Personally, I really enjoyed seeing their faces as they walked up to take their seats at the altar of Chapel for the first time. Each one of them with a beaming smile.

Poole House Fundraising

Fundraising has continued and a big well done to Harry VDG who keeps the money coming in. This means we have now nearly reached the £4000 mark; we currently sit at £3964. After the half term break, we will be doing a house sponsored swim in the school Pool, for those who would like to join in. Hopefully this will give the boys who have not yet managed to raise any funds the opportunity to do so, and, who knows, we may even reach £5000.
