This half term seems to have come and gone in a flash! Many fixtures, regattas, rehearsals and trips have been happening and keeping the girls busy. We are looking forward to Speech Day this evening in Durham Cathedral and then a well earned rest!

I know the girls will spend much of the half term break revising for their exams which happen during exam week, the first week back in June. I suggest the girls also have time to rest as the final few weeks of term are fast and furious! 

Activities Week 

We are looking forward to Activities Week Monday 30th June – Wednesday 2nd July where there will be lots of fun activities and trips for all year groups. Thursday 3rd July will consist of tutor group activities in the morning and House Cricket in the afternoon, followed by our Hawaiian themed House BBQ in the evening (late finish for all). Friday will conclude the school year with Sports Day in the morning and term finishing at lunchtime. All details will be sent out in a letter by Mrs Rochester shortly after the half term break.

Year 9 Ice Cream Social

On Wednesday and Thursday evenings, the Year 9 girls enjoyed their ice cream social with multiple flavours, sauces, and sprinkles! It was lovely to get the girls together around their commitments and celebrate the end of another busy half term.
