A wonderful week in the house this week with lots going on. Well done to all the boys involved in the school production of Pygmalion, it was truly outstanding. The Pooleites and all involved should be really proud of themselves, not only for the performances this week but for the months of hard work beforehand.

Science Week

Following reading week last week this week has been Science week, with lots of activities being organised for all ages. Year 7 had the pleasure and excitement of going to the Great North Museum on Tuesday of this week, the boys had a wonderful time. 

Ethan J delivered a very insightful and interesting talk in Chapel on Wednesday about MedSoc (Medical Society) which he and another pupil run in school, I learned a few things myself. 

The fundraising continues for the MND association and our Head of House Njegos is partaking in his sponsored MMA fight this weekend in Sunderland. He has been training for 8 weeks and is primed and ready to go. We will have a full report for you next week.

Great news this week on a sporting front, George B has been playing for Newcastle falcons Academy for the past two years and this week, due to his outstanding talent and hard work he has been offered a professional contract. Well done George we are extremely proud of you.
