I am sure we will all breathe a sigh of relief as term draws to a close and this has been a typically busy week in advance of the holiday. Pupils enjoyed their house suppers on Wednesday and Thursday and whilst the karaoke machine took something of a battering, spirits were high and the festivities showed the best of the Durham School. 

The collegiality within the houses, and the inclusivity of the pupils towards each other was heartwarming to behold and it is at times like these that we are reminded of the strength of the community at the Foundation. 

This will no doubt be in evidence this evening at our Carol Service and I look forward to seeing many of you there. I would like to wish you all a very happy and restful Christmas break and I look forward to seeing the pupils again when we return on January 7th.
