Another busy week comes to an end and preparations for the end of term celebrations are beginning. For those of you new to the school, we traditionally have our Christmas dinners on Wednesday and Thursday of the final week of term.

The Wednesday event is for Years 7 to 10 and they celebrate during the school day with their Christmas jumpers and exchanging of presents.

Thursday sees the turn of the Seniors, and this event takes place in the evening, with traditional House entertainment for the pupils, staff and guests. You will receive more information on that from SHMs in due course.

Friday 13 brings our end of term Carol Service: it is always a lovely occasion and send us all of into the winter evening in a festive spirit. Please do come along if you can.

Next week sees our Christmas concert and there will be performances of many favourites from the musical talents we have at the school. My thanks again go to the Music department who, having just completed the House Music competition, have now to prepare for this event as well as the Carol Service. It is a tribute to the dedication of the staff and the pupils that these events are able to be put on.

Finally, a busy weekend of fixtures as well as two Advent Processions for the Choristers; I hope all of the activities go well.
