A successful 'odd socks day' and a lovely collaboration with Dubai too for interest. I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported our efforts during Anti-Bullying Week. This has been a powerful opportunity for our community to come together to promote kindness, respect, and inclusivity, and we are incredibly proud of the participation and enthusiasm shown by students and staff alike. From discussions and activities to our special events, we have collectively taken a strong stance against bullying, reinforcing our commitment to making our school a safe and welcoming place for everyone. Odd Socks Day was a tremendous success on both the Durham Cathedral Schools Foundation site and our site in Dubai. It was wonderful to see the students embracing the theme with enthusiasm and pride, celebrating the unique qualities that make each individual special. Their participation underscored our shared school MARK values and demonstrated a clear message: we stand united against bullying. Our annual anti-bullying survey was also completed by most students, providing valuable insights into their experiences and perspectives. This feedback is essential in helping us to evaluate the current climate and shape the steps we take to ensure that our school remains a supportive environment. If your child was absent this week, we kindly ask that they complete the survey by Saturday, 16th November. Their input is crucial in providing a complete picture, allowing us to make informed decisions and tailor our approach to meet the needs of every student. Once again, thank you for your support and involvement in Anti-Bullying Week. Your encouragement helps reinforce the importance of Moral Integrity and Kindness within our school community, and we are grateful for your partnership in this important work.
