MacLeod House
Friday, 13 September 2024

A busy first full week with activities and after-school clubs starting. It has been encouraging to see so many girls sign up for these extra opportunities outside of the classroom and hope that they continue to make the most of what is on offer to them.

Year 7Social and Parent Drinks

It was lovely to have our new Year 7 girls in last night for the first social event of the year. The girls, along with some of our Sixth Form prefect team, enjoyed homemade pizzas, toasting marshmallows and games. It was also nice to welcome our Year 7 parents to MacLeod to touch base with house staff and introduce them to the MacLeod family.

MacLeod Celebrations

Huge congratulations to Lola in Year 9 who has been competing in many show jumping events over the summer and has qualified for the Horse of the Year Show in October.

This is a major achievement as there are only 14 horse and rider combinations which qualified in this class. We wish Lola all the best in her forthcoming competitions and look forward to reporting on her success.

Woman of the Week
Congratulations to Millie in Year 12 who scored on her 1st XI hockey debut last Saturday – well done Millie!
