A fantastic week of activities for the pupils comes to an end; my thanks to the staff who have put such a varied diet on for them. 

We also had cricket festivals for school teams and I am pleased to hear how well they conducted themselves in representing the school. 

I am conscious that some of you will see this message before Speech Day and some after, so I will say that I hope the events passes/passed well and you will enjoy/enjoyed the speeches. We are grateful to Rebecca Adlington for finding time to come to speak to us and I am sure she will have inspired all those who heard her. 

Tomorrow sees the leavers' ball and I am looking forward to seeing many of you as a way to send the academic year off in style. 

I will write in more detail about the term in my end of term letter on Monday, but I want to say now that I hope you all have a lovely summer break. To those who leave us for the final time, I wish you well in your futures.
