From the Headmistress of Chorister School
Friday, 28 June 2024
This week's 'Move Up Day' was a great success and an opportunity for both pupils and staff to think about the new school year ahead. The staff worked hard to ensure children familiarised themselves with some of the changes that lie ahead and answered lots of questions about some of the new routines that come with a new year. A particular mention to our Year 2s and 6s who were very confident and mature during their visits to their new sites.

After many weeks of working hard on their Year 6 production, this week sees 'Peter Pan' come to the stage, showcasing a combination of acting, music making and dancing. The performances have been a great team effort; built confidence and communication skills; and given everyone the chance to contribute to a lasting memory of their final Chorister School year. Congratulations to all involved and the staff team who have worked incredibly hard to motivate and encourage the children to produce such a wonderful performance.

Next week, our final week of term, promises to be another very busy one with lots of activities to draw the school year to a close. Lots for everyone to look forward to and culminating in our end of school year celebrations at Friday's Speech Day and Early Years Foundation Stage and Year 1 Awards Celebration.
