It’s Sports Day!  This is always a great day with lots of our boys pushing themselves for those all important points. I look forward to updating you on how it goes next week.  As you would expect, after 5 days of roasting hot weather, it is overcast and windy with a 100% chance of rain… the great British Summer living up to its reputation!  Earlier this week, we have had lots of cricket, rowers preparing for National Schools, Science week, a presentation assembly and Year 6 Transition Day. Sport Last weekend Kanishk k took two wickets for our U15 side which itself is excellent, but Kanishk is Year 7!  Superb work.  Other standout performances include wins for our U17 XI against a touring Australian School, and, though they got beat, our U13s took their game to the last over losing narrowly.
As I mentioned above, our rowers are in action down at Bradford Sprint Regatta tomorrow.  The crews have trained hard this week (especially given the heat).  Bungites will be represented by Alex B, Jason W, Simon G & Archie S. Music

Huge well done to Jackson M who won the intermediate Guitar and drums in the Chadeyron Music Compeition. Jesse E and Theo M tied second.    Science Fair

Science fair was as excellent as ever.  The Bungites scientists did not disappoint with displays ranging from PH Scale level (Leo and Fred), Honyi and kayode looked at wind turbines, Kanishk looked at the science of cricket, Alex C looked at the properties of metals, Rupert questioned if dogs mouths are cleaner than humans, Ethan looked at wind turbines, Evan created a plasma ball , and Alex studied the properties of metals! Lots of other boys were involved a huge well done to everyone who took part.  End of term Timings and Dates Thursday 4th July
