As we enter the last couple of weeks of exams it has been pleasing to see the Year 11 and 13 boys still working hard and continuing to push themselves. The other year groups have had some of their school exam results back and it has been an excellent learning experience for all. Some grades may not have been what the boys wanted, but there have also been many extremely pleasing results. As we head towards the end of the school year and the completion of exams there are lots of exciting events coming up for the boys. However, it is also a time to say goodbye to many of our Pooleites.
This weekend, some of our boarders are leaving, and we thank them for all they contributed to Poole House during their time with us and wish them all the best for the future. On Thursday evening I had the pleasure of going to the Art, Photography and DT exhibition and what a pleasure it was. The standard of work was incredible, well done to all involved, both staff and pupils.

Durham regatta (report written by Eden S)
Last weekend at Durham regatta crews struggled with the weather conditions throughout the weekend, especially on Saturday. Wins on Saturday came from the senior women’s 8 and the j15 oct with Poole House members consisting of; William C, Alexander K, and Eden S. The Sunday had less severe weather conditions and a bit of warmer weather. All crews performed well with another win for the j15 oct consisting of William C and Eden S winning the Frank Humphries Cup which presented on Sunday evening. Overall, it was a great weekend with all the crews performing well.
Good luck to the boys involved in the weekend's cricket fixtures against Woodhouse Grove.
