From the Headmistress of Chorister School
Friday, 11 October 2024

Despite the variable weather, it has been a very productive week with many successes across the school. On Monday, we practiced our Invacuation drills on both sites. The children were absolutely amazing, demonstrating sensible attitudes and a speedy response. The efficiency of the drill was excellent and I am very pleased that it was undertaken with such maturity and responsibility.

This week has seen our first round of parents/tutor meetings. I hope these have been a good opportunity to hear how well the children have settled into the school year. As always, please keep in touch with your children's form teachers if you have any queries as the term progresses. One of our unofficial mottos is 'a happy child is a learning child' and, as a team, wellbeing sits at the heart of all we do.

Tomorrow, we look forward to welcoming prospective parents for Open Morning. Many thanks to the pupils in Years 3-6 who have offered their time to support the activities. We always find that our pupils really are the best ambassadors for our school. Together, we are always incredibly proud to share the wonderful place that is Chorister School. Best wishes.
