A quieter week this week but still incredibly busy. The sun has come out again and it was great once again to see the boys outside playing and using the outside space. The whole school gathered on Thursday for the whole school photo. It was incredible to see everyone from across the entire foundation all together. 952 people all together and it was brilliant to see the Pooleites behaving impeccably.

The house music practice is coming along nicely, and it has even started to resemble a tune now, so fingers crossed it will be incredible by the time we come to perform.

This week we had the great news that Fred S has been selected for the County Durham player pathway programme for Under-13 Field Hockey. Well done Fred, we are incredibly proud of you. If your son has achieved anything outside of school that you would like to celebrate, please do let us know so we can congratulate them.

The 1st XV played in the 2nd round of the National cup this week away to Barnard Castle and pleasingly they were victorious and progress through to the next round which is Away to St Peters on Wednesday 16th October.

Finally, Year 13 launched our chosen charity (MND association) on Friday morning during assembly and have started to discuss the upcoming fundraisers. Please can I ask you to help support the boys in raising as much money as possible for this great charity once the events get underway.
